FAQ

THE CTLINK HARDWARE HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE DEVELOPER.

However, new USB hardware has been designed. We now have the ETHERNAT and the NETUSBEE, for which drivers are in development...

REST OF THE FAQ INCLUDED BELOW IS FOR HISTORICAL REASONS ONLY...

What is it?
CTLink - is the new long awaited USB 2.0 and 100Mbs Ethernet card for your Atari Falcon. It sits on the expansion slot, and even allows you to add more expansion devices (Like the fabulous CT60!). The card will support speeds of 1.5 mbit/s (Low-speed) and 12 mbit/s (Full-speed).

What do you need?
The CTLink is designed to work with ANY Falcon and can be fitted without having to recase (depending on what else is already installed). A plain unaccelerated Falcon will be able to use Low-speed (1.5 mbit/s) devices at least, like joysticks, keyboards and mice. If you haven't accelerated your Falcon yet - why not ?!?

Who is making it?
The CTLink project is a conspiracy between Czuba-Tech, The Nature Team, and myself.

What will it cost?
We are aiming to make it available for less than €100/£60. Note that this is just the for the cost of the hardware, the basic USB drivers (to be determined) will be FREE. It has been decided to charge a nominal amount for the full USB drivers. This will be announced in due course.
